I was shaken once by feeling really angry. A teenage Israeli soldier tried to humiliate and provoke Palestinian men by forcing them to sit in a drainage ditch after their bitter day's work on a settlement construction site. I was supposed to be a calm observer but I expressed my anger and soon after fell ill. What brings you to NatCAN?
Promotion of aSALT course, the 'Spiritual Activist Leadership Training', to nurture activists/change agents trying to bring more justice into the world. 'Spiritual' means something bigger than my ego that sustains me accesed through some practice e.g. meditation, walking in nature etc, 'activist' includes change agents of any shape or size, 'leadership' includes from the back, facilitative, 'training' means we are all learners and teachers together.
